    Understand the Scope of BS 7272<\/h2>\nBS 7272 addresses aspects of writing and marking instrument safety: Part 1 covers caps and Part 2 covers end closures, with a focus on reducing the risk of asphyxiation. It should not be presented as a complete chemical-safety certificate or as proof that every pen is suitable for every age group.\n
